The Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool is designed to provide startup companies with a simple way to voluntarily submit information to and connect with the Emerging Business Team at Microsoft. While we intend for this process to enable us to efficiently qualify and engage with startup companies, we are unable to guarantee that submission of any information will result in any form of business relationship or other engagement or activity with Microsoft.
Microsoft does not accept unsolicited proposals for general product ideas, and we do not intend for the Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool to be used for such purposes.
Microsoft is actively developing products in a wide array of technology areas, and may be conducting or planning to conduct research and development work relating to very diverse subject matters. As a result, we are unable to accept or consider unsolicited product ideas, including but not limited to ideas for new advertising campaigns, new promotions, new products or technologies, processes, materials, marketing plans or new product names. Please do not send any original creative artwork, samples, demos, or other works. The sole purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes when Microsoft's products or marketing strategies might seem similar to ideas submitted to Microsoft. Accordingly, please do not send your unsolicited ideas, or those of anyone you are representing, to Microsoft or anyone at Microsoft via this Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool or any other medium. If, despite our request that you not send us such ideas and materials, you still send them, please understand that Microsoft makes no assurances that those ideas and materials will be treated as confidential or proprietary. In addition, the Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool should not be used for the submission of sales solicitations, requests for charity or sponsorship, or resumes.
Information submitted via the Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool will not be accepted under an obligation of confidentiality.
Due to the breadth of our product and technology development efforts, we are unable to accept information under an obligation of confidentiality, whether through the Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool or through any other medium. Accordingly, we request that you not disclose through the Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool any information that you, or anyone you represent, consider to be sensitive, proprietary or confidential. If you desire to profile yourself or create a profile on behalf of a third party you represent via the Microsoft Emerging Business Team Profiling Tool, you and any such third party you represent must indicate acknowledgment of and agreement with our non-confidentiality policy as set forth herein. The process for profiling will continue and you will proceed to our Profiling Tool only if a duly authorized representative of your company, and of any company you represent makes such acknowledgment and agreement by checking the box below. If you or any company you represent do not agree to be bound by our non-confidentiality policy, we will not accept or review any information and the process for connecting with the Emerging Business Team at Microsoft will not continue beyond this Terms of Use page.
If you are representing a third party client in any manner, as an Authorized Agent, by providing the information below as indicated and clicking Submit, you represent that (i) you have reviewed these Terms and Conditions with the duly authorized agent of your client identified below (via Authorized Primary Signature), (ii) you and your client (through its duly authorized agent) agree to these Terms of Use; and (iii) you have authority to act as an agent of your client, to accept these Terms of Use on such client's behalf, and to make the representations herein.
